What Stripe Collects

When you make a donation, Stripe collects your payment card details, billing information, and transaction data. Stripe's use of your payment information is governed by their own Privacy Policy, available at stripe.com/privacy.

What Hasanaat Receives

Upon a successful donation, Hasanaat receives only a confirmation that the payment was completed, the donation amount, and your email address for the purpose of sending a receipt. We retain donation records as required by IRS regulations for nonprofit organizations.

Donation Receipts

All donations to Hasanaat Incorporated are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. A receipt will be sent to your email address following a successful donation. Please retain this for your tax records. Hasanaat's EIN is 87-1184885.

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

Hasanaat does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for commercial purposes. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: We use Stripe for payment processing and Google Analytics for website analytics. Both are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection agreements.
• Background Checks: For volunteer applicants, we use Checkr to conduct basic criminal and sex offender background checks. Hasanaat receives only a "cleared" or "not cleared" result — no detailed personal information is shared with us.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal process such as a court order or government request.
• Protection of Rights: We may disclose information to protect the safety of our students, staff, or volunteers, or to prevent fraud or illegal activity.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy:

• Contact form submissions: Retained for up to 12 months for follow-up purposes
• Volunteer applications: Retained for the duration of your volunteer relationship with Hasanaat, plus up to 12 months after
• Donation records: Retained for a minimum of 7 years as required by IRS regulations for nonprofit organizations
• Analytics data: Aggregated and anonymized — retained per Google Analytics default settings

Students and families who participate in Hasanaat's programs are subject to separate privacy practices governed by our program participation agreements.
