Operational costs allow us to keep the center and its good initiatives going. This includes but not limited to facility rent, utilities, salaries for tutors and family resource specialist, equipment, supplies and other general expenses needed to keep the operation going! Your donations make our mission possible!
Family resource specialists work with refugees to get them the resources that they need to be successful. This includes connecting them with spiritual services at houses of worship, financial and health services through government aid systems, language learning resources, and finding a job for refugees.
Many low-income and refugee students don’t have a laptop of their own. In high school, they use a computer provided by the school which they have to return upon graduating. This graduation package would give students a laptop they can use throughout college, along with a few graduation gifts which will make them enjoy their special graduation day. Our nonprofit pricing and corporate sponsorships, this $500 package only costs us $175 per package.
Transporting refugees to mosques, programs, and events is timely and costly. For many refugees, the reason they do not participate in programs is that they don’t have a way to get to the program and back home. We want to limit that burden from them. Your donation will go towards the expenses of transportation such as driver costs, fuel, insurance, and maintenance.
